• Cost

1. What is your costing structure?

1. Arguably the first and most common question asked in all investigations into any potential serivces. Our costing is bespoke subject to what it is you are storing, how often stock is likely to turnover (rate of goods in and goods out), whether it can be palletised, whether our pick, pack and send services is required and ultimately how much it is you are storing. Cheaper containerised and self-store options are available too.

2. For some general figures to work upon the storage rate works around a £1.50 per cubic metre. If goods are palletised we charge £3 for receviing and £3 for dispatch with £2.00 per week for EU pallet sized storage and £3.00 for a Standard sized pallet. If you would like containerised storage it is £10 per container per week.
Our manual handling rate will be around a £20 per hour, with Manager services available upon request with a rate of £30 per hour. If disposal is required then we charge £15.00 for the first 150kgs working on the basis that there are no specific disposal requirements for those goods.

3. Our packaging and resources costs are:

Small boxes = £1.50
Large boxes = £2.00
Packing paper = £9.90
Premium tape = £2.00
Standard tape = £1.50
Bubble wrap = £45 per roll (£4.50 per metre)
Shrink wrap = £7.50
Pallets = available on rotation basis

• Receipt of Goods

1. What volume of goods can you receive?

   1. There is no specific volume we cannot receive. We have an unloading area with space for over 5 lorries to unload from accompanied with a turning bay in which articulated lorries turn daily..
   
   2. We have unloaded many containers subject to customs restrictions. We have a large amount of staff enabling large loads of 40ft and larger containers to be unloaded in the 3 hours or whatever necesary.
   As we like to say You sell...we do the rest!
   
   3. We have over 6 forklifts in our fleet including gas, reach and cherry picker forklifts. All of which with extended forks to unload larger items.

1. Where are you based?

   1. Our main depot is based next to Stansted airport in the South East just above London. Here we have three alarmed, dry warehouses with pallet racking, stillages and containers available. We have one gas and three electric forklifts also with a cherry-picker forklift for bespoke safe, small quantity picking.
   
   2. We have two other warehouses sites based in the South East, with two near Cambridge and one in Colchester. All of these are fully alarmed with forklift services available. One of our warehouses is also a bonded warehouse for importing of goods from abroad offering customs clearance.
   
   3.There are no limit to our delivery services. All over the UK, Europe and Overseas services are available.

   1. We have courier contracts for the most economical delivery options along with our own selection of vans and lorries for larger deliveries. Next day and even same day delivery can be arranged within reason.
   
   2. Collection is also avaialble from any location. If there is a need for collection from port for shipped goods this is also avaialble. Unloading of containers from import is another service we offer.
   
   3. Our range of vehicle spans from small vans, to transit vans, 3.5t vans, 7.5t lorries, 14t lorries and even 17t lorries if required. Articulated lorries are again also available if required.

• Packing

1. Do you offer packing services?
2. Is fragile packing available?
3. Can we provide our own packagers and packing?

   1. Packing services are fully available. We have a large number of experienced staff who can provide various types of packaging including export wrapping if needed.
   
   2. Fragile packing is also available with our staff fully BAR fragile packing trained. Our staff are recruited from a local company and have had wide experience in domestic and international removals wrapping fragiles on a daily basis.
   
   3. If you want to provide your packers and own packaging this is also fine. We would simply ask that you rent a packing area of the warehouse.

• Security

1. Are your warehouses alarmed?
2. Do we have access to the warehouses?
3. Are the warehouses clean and dry?
   
   1. All our warehouses are alarmed with the grounds that provide access to the warehouses also alarmed. There is a security camera to provide additional safety.
   
   2. During business hours you are able to access the warehouses with a guide. if you should want to remove goods this is will be no problem.
   
   3. We pride ourselves on the high level of service we provide and ensure our warehouses are kept clean and tidy with constant monitoring. You can be assured the warehouses are dry and clear of any pests.

• Storage restrictions
  

1. What items do you not store?
   
   1. At present we do not store any dangerous or hazardous goods. We also cannot offer storage of temperature dependant goods (frozen) and we cannot store fresh, perishable goods outside their shelf-life. Storage of dry goods is available.
